The Paramizer software controls all the functions of the Microdrive
screw tightening system. All operations are password protected;
including parameter set control, IO, and calibration data.
The software
was designed for screw tightening in max. 8 steps. The graph
shows a typical sequence over 3 steps:

Step1: Simple Torque Step to facilitate screw
engagement

Step 2: Angle Step with angle limitation and
torque monitoring

Step 3: Torque Step for the final tightening,
with torque control and angle monitoring
The steps allow completely independent settings
of rpm. The Simple Torque Step is a search step which normally
runs at low rpm to find the thread easily. Step 2 can be run at
high rpm for high productivity and short cycle time. At Step 3
rpm is reduced to avoid exceeded torque.
