Microdrive MD Series screwdrivers are DC
electric
servo-motor-driven precision tools, designed for
the manual or automated assembly of small
components. The current load on the motor
of all MD drivers is converted to torque
and monitored throughout the entire screw
tightening process. Torque is accurate to
within 5% of the entire torque range of every tool. This is accomplished
by breaking the calibration of the screwdriver down into 16 independently
calibrated channels. Please see the Operations Manual for details.
The
compact design control box controls
the entire screw tightening process.
Parameter sets can be either manually generated at
the control box or on a PC with the
Paramizer
software*
The MD Series tools can be broken out into the
following
categories:
* = MD03, MD05, MD10, MD25 do not use the G4
controller or Paramizer software
